The Ramayana Circuit retraces key sites from the Ramayana — Ayodhya (the birthplace of Lord Rama and now home to the new Ram Mandir, consecrated 22 January 2024), Prayagraj (where Bharat is said to have met Rama at the confluence), and Chitrakoot (where Rama, Sita, and Lakshman spent eleven of their fourteen exile years). Varanasi On Wheels has operated this circuit since the Ram Mandir foundation ceremony and has been one of the recommended operators for Ayodhya darshan logistics. The drivers know the new Ram Mandir entry protocol (security check, mobile-free zone, footwear rules) and the back-route to avoid the Tehri-area pilgrim crowd. From Varanasi the loop is naturally clockwise: Varanasi → Prayagraj → Ayodhya → Chitrakoot → Varanasi.
Morning departure from Varanasi. Arrive Prayagraj by afternoon. Boat ride at Triveni Sangam (confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati). Visit Akshayavat (the indestructible banyan), Patalpuri Temple inside the fort, and Bade Hanuman (lying Hanuman). Evening rest.
Morning visit Anand Bhawan (Nehru family museum). Drive to Ayodhya. Arrive by afternoon. Saryu Aarti at Naya Ghat in the evening. Overnight in Ayodhya.
Early start for Ram Janmabhoomi darshan (Ram Mandir) — phone deposit, security check, slow queue. Allow 3–4 hours. Continue to Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, Nageshwarnath Temple, and Treta Ke Thakur. Lunch break. Afternoon at Choti Devkali, Sita Ki Rasoi, and Ramkot. Evening Saryu Aarti.
Long driving day. Stop for breakfast. Arrive Chitrakoot by evening. Light dinner. Overnight.
Morning at Ramghat — boat ride on Mandakini. Visit Bharat Milap Mandir, Sati Anasuya Ashram, Gupt Godavari caves, Hanuman Dhara, Kamadgiri parikrama (5 km circumambulation, doable by car). Sphatik Shila where Rama is said to have rested. Sita Rasoi.
Morning departure. Lunch en route. Arrive Varanasi by evening. Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Overnight Varanasi or onward travel.
